I met Marie first day at Hunter college. She was in her brown phase. All she wore were different shades of brown clothes. We would always kid her and bring her colors to wear. Little did we know how she would light up our years at Hunter. She was our leader. Always committed to doing the right thing and making sure our rights were not violated. Marie had a boundless love for people, the earth and justice for all. She was tireless in her work to make this world a better place. The years have slipped by since the “hay days” of CONP, but I will always treasure our adventures in Albany and up and down the NY turnpike. Marie, you taught me so much and loved life so much.
