Obituary of Serafino Paonessa

Serafino Paonessa entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 29, 2020, he was 83 years of age.

He was born on January, 15, 1937 in Gimigliano, Catanzaro, Italy to Benedetto and Maria Costantina (Gatto). 

He is survived by his adoring wife of 60 years Maria, his daughters; Juliana (Anthony) Matra, Lisa (Todd) Paonessa-Tieche, grandchildren; Rocco (Alyssa), Amanda (Raul), Samantha, Maxwell, Theodore, one great-grandson, his brother; Giuseppe, residing in Italy, Brother-in-law; Giuseppe (Barbara) Paonessa, Sister-in-law: Angela Paonessa-Feroleto residing in Italy, one niece,  and many nephews.

Service of remembrance will be held at Hillside Cemetery on Friday, December 11, 2020, at 11:00 am with Rev. Charles (Chip) Low officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations in his memory can be made to Maria Fareri Children's Hospital.
