
Obituary of Glenn Edward Tompkins, Sr.
Glenn Edward Tompkins, Sr. also known as Nono, was born August 23, 1944, to Clara Coles and Elon Tompkins, Jr.
Glenn worked for United Artist, the NYC Board of Education, and in private industry. He was a Mason for over 15 years.
Glenn loved music. He was an excellent base player. He became the base player for a band called Soul Fusion, where they played locally. Glenn was well-liked by many people in our community.
Glenn leaves behind his adoring wife of over 43 years, Milagros "Mina" Tompkins; His sister Joyce, her son Keith, and his wife Sherri; His niece Christine, her husband Dale, and their daughters; His granddaughter Jasmine and Jasmine's mom, Valerie. Glenn also leaves behind his sisters-in-law Susie and Debbie, whom he called his daughters. Susie's two children, Carlos, who is Little Nono, and Angie, whom he called his China Doll. Angie's two daughters Liliana and Leilani. Debbie two daughters, Samantha and Kimberly. Debbie's two granddaughters, Maria and Alura, who he called Scooter. Glenn has many more nieces and nephews. Before taking ill, Glenn was an active member of the Peekskill community. Glenn will be missed by his wife, family, and friends.
May he rest in peace. He will no longer be suffering. Rest in peace, my love, my heart, and my soul.
