Richard Brian Cassolino Obituary

Richard Brian Cassolino, loving husband of Virginia Cassolino, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 30th, 2025.

Born in Southington, CT on May 30, 1950. Richard was the son of Elizabeth (McGinn) Cassolino and the late Richard Cassolino.

Known for his musical talents and sense of adventure, Richard (Rick) brought enthusiastic energy to everyone in his life.

Richard is survived by his brother, Brent Cassolino, his three children, David Cassolino, Kathleen Barnett, and Christine Cassolino; and his granddaughter, Eliza Barnett.

Rick's adventurous spirit brought him years of service in the United States Coast Guard as well as trips to Block Island on the “Outlandish” sailboat.

Rick was an incredible person. His presence and determination made him a leader for his family and all those he connected with. May he rest in peace with all his stories and songs in our hearts as he sails off calmly to his next “gig”.
