Obituary of Edward James Warren
With deep love and sorrow, the family of Edward James Warren announces his peaceful passing on June 12, 2025, at the age of 63.
Born in Peekskill, New York, on January 22, 1962, Edward was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and friend. A proud U.S. Navy veteran and skilled HVAC technician, he worked with dedication and integrity throughout his life. Beyond his profession, Edward will be remembered for the warmth of his presence and the strength of his character.
He is survived by his beloved wife Kinuyo, his loving mother Farida, and his four cherished children: Sayaka, Akina, Toshio, and Mika as well as his nephew Akito. He also leaves behind four treasured grandchildren—Sayuri, Jermaine Jr., Olivia, and Kenji—who brought him immeasurable joy. He is also survived by his sons-in-law Jermaine Sr. and Daijon, and daughter-in-law Mary.
Edward had a lifelong passion for music, especially jazz, and found great joy in cheering on his favorite teams—the New York Giants and the New York Knicks. But above all, his happiest moments were spent surrounded by family, especially his grandchildren, who were the light of his life.
He was an extraordinary man—an amazing husband, a devoted father, a caring grandfather, and a loyal friend. His kindness, laughter, and unwavering love will be remembered always. He will truly be missed and forever loved.
