Obituary of Margaret Ann Young

Margaret Ann Young (nee Kristoferson) of Cortlandt Manor, NY passed away on June 21, 2025. She was 87 years old.  Margaret was born on May 12,1938 in Peekskill, NY to Otto Kristoferson, Sr. and Jane Frances Kristoferson. On June 15,1958 she married Raymond Edward Young at the Assumption Church in Peekskill.  

She worked in ShopRite on Route 6 in Cortlandt Manor for many years.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Margaret Ann Astrologo (Paul), her sons, Raymond Young, Jr. (Cindy), Scott Young, 4 grandchildren; Paul Astrologo, Jr. (Adrienne), Rachel Santiago (Kevin), Daniel Young, Renee Webster (David) and 5 great grandchildren; Jacob Lasch, Aiden Santiago, Vyolet Santiago, Owen Astrologo, and Jade Amber Webster. She is survived by her sister, Katherine Kristoferson, her brothers, Lee Kristoferson, Arthur Kristoferson, Gray Kristoferson (Lois), Ralph Kristoferson (Debbie), Edward Kristoferson (Nancy) and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband Raymond and her sisters Marion Scolpini, Jane Barrett, her brothers, George Kristoferson, Otto “Buddy” Kristoferson, Jr.

Visitation will be held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, 414 Washington Street, Peekskill, NY 10566, on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
