Denise Horne passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on August 1, 2025.  She was 63 years old. 

Denise was born April 25, 1962, to Leonard and Carol Horne of Yonkers, NY.  The Horne family moved to Peekskill when Denise was 6 years old.  Shortly after getting married, Denise and her family moved to New Windsor, NY where she spent the remainder of her life.   

Denise worked for IBM for 40 years.  She held many titles throughout her employment, however, the role she cherished most was being “Mom” to Mike and Nick.  Denise lived her life with a smile on her face and a heart full of love and hope.  She was loved by all who knew her.

Denise is pre-deceased by her father, Leonard Horne, and her mother, Carol Horne.  

Denise is survived by her loving husband, Michael J. Russo, and their two children, Michael and Nicholas.  She also leaves behind her brother Gregory Horne (Dawn), her sister Michele Horne (Stephen Gallaher), and her brother Gary Horne (Jennifer) and her nieces and nephews Gregory, Emma, Addison, Taylor, David Jr. and Michael.

Memorial Service will be held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
