Barbara Ali passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at the age of 83. She was born on May 18, 1942, to George Sinanan and Myrtle Supersad, in Penal, Trinidad, West Indies. Barbara married Reasat Ali on December 26, 1964. 

In the early 1970s, they ventured beyond the Caribbean island and settled in the Bronx before moving to Lake Peekskill, NY to raise their three (3) daughters Alison, Francine and Denise. While living in the Bronx, Barbara worked in the administration field for CBS for several years and was happily involved in the University Heights Presbyterian Church before joining the Peekskill Presbyterian Church. 

She loved singing, bookkeeping, gardening, baking, and her arts and crafts.

She leaves behind her daughters and two grandsons and has joined her late husband in the house of the Lord.

Visitation will be held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Chapel Service will be held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 12:00 PM  to 1:00 PM.

Interment to follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Putnam Valley, NY.
