I was lucky enough to not only meet Kevin and become his friend, but also to have the honor of being his partner at work in the courts for many a year. During that time I got to know him pretty well. Of all the words that can be used to describe Kevin, (and there are many-haha), I think the most important would be "kind soul". That's for sure. He was very loyal to his friends and always ready to help them if they needed it. Although some of my children hardly knew him, and some not at all, they asked if this was "Uncle" Kevin of "Uncle Kevin's Chicken" fame (a recipe of his I make every Summer). I laughed and said "Exactly!" It reminded me that part of him also lives on in many of the things I cook, as some of his hints and secrets had worked their way into my own recipes too. Mmm those sausage and peppers! I am deeply saddened at his passing. My family and I offer prayers, and our condolences to his family and friends. It was a privilege to know you buddy. Always interesting and lots of fun and laughs. When you arrived in Heaven, I'll bet St. Peter exclaimed "Ecco qua!" You are missed, and won't be forgotten. Your friend, Bobby.

I had the Honor of Serving with Kevin in the early to late 1980’s when he was a young Court Officer for the Peekskill City Court, and I was a young Police Officer with the Peekskill Police Department. We became good friends, and we shared many good times together, both on duty, and off duty, and although I was glad for him, I was also sad to see him leave his position with the Peekskill City Court when he became a NY State Court Officer, and he began working at the Westchester County Courthouse in White Plains, NY. Kevin was always a very good man, and a very good friend, with a great sense of humor, and a kind heart. Rest In Peace My Friend. Paul Astrologo Captain, (Retired) Peekskill Police Department
