Frances Cummins,72, of Peekskill, passed away February 13, 2026, after a long battle with MS and a short battle with cancer.

Born July 21, 1953, in Brooklyn, NY, to Alfred and Frances Blake.

Frances married Thomas Cummins on February 14, 1975. They moved to Peekskill and raised their family there.

Frances was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. After retirement, she joined the Peekskill Senior Center, where she enjoyed painting and playing Pokeno. She also enjoyed volunteering at The Field Library Bookstore.

Frances is survived by her daughters, Melissa Cummins and Lori(Jamie) DeShon, and grandchildren Logan and Olivia DeShon. She is also survived by her siblings Alfred(Marie) Blake, Joanna Frame, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Thomas and parents Alfred and Frances.

Visitation will be held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, 414 Washington Street, Peekskill, NY 10566, on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm
