Leslie Anne Hand passed away peacefully at her home on March 13, 2026, surrounded by her family.

She was born on April 5, 1954, in the Borough of Queens, New York City, to Robert and Miriam Eidlitz. Leslie attended SUNY Brockport, where she studied social work and went on to build a career devoted to caring for others. She was deeply compassionate and found great fulfillment in helping and advocating for her patients.

Leslie is survived by her children, Samantha (Frank), and their children Devin, Riley, and Taylor; and Zachary (Carly), and their children Amelia and Ava. She is also survived by her sister, Susan Garry.

Leslie loved spending time with family and friends, especially during trips to the beach in Long Beach Island, New Jersey, a place that brought her great joy and many cherished memories. She delighted in being a grandmother and treasured every moment with her grandchildren—often spoiling them with hugs, laughter, and the occasional piece of chocolate.

Leslie also enjoyed the simple comforts of home and the companionship of her beloved cat, Chloe. She will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the deep love she had for her family.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, 414 Washington Street, Peekskill, NY.
