Mary Louise Ann Duffy passed away peacefully on July 27, 2026.  While her family grieves the loss of an extraordinary mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, they are profoundly grateful for the example she set and the countless lives she quietly touched through her kindness.

Born in Queens, New York, to Patrick and Johanna Mitchell, Mary Lou later lived in the Bronx and eventually settled in Northern Westchester. 

She lovingly raised seven children: John (Dorie), Deborah, Denise, Stephen (Maureen), Diane (Skip), Robert (Kim), and Darren (Ana) and was an immensely proud grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her brother, John (Alice); her sister, Alice (Albert); and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Patricia.
