Tomas Nube Luna, 81, of Peekskill, NY, a man of integrity, strength, and unwavering devotion to his family, passed away peacefully at his home on August 20, 2026, surrounded by the family he loved so dearly.

Tomas was born on September 29, 1944, in Peru to Tomas Nube Soria and Ana Maria Luna. From humble beginnings, he learned early in life the importance of hard work, perseverance, and determination.

In 1969, Tomas married his beloved wife, Maria Antonieta Nube, in Peru. In 1981, he made the journey from Peru to New York determined to build a better life for his family. Through years of hard work and sacrifice, he created greater opportunities for the generations that came after him and a foundation his family will continue to carry forward. Tomas and Maria shared more than five decades of marriage and built a life together centered around family, perseverance, and unconditional love.

Tomas was a hardworking and deeply devoted family man whose life was defined by integrity, dignity, and determination. He expressed his love through his actions and was always willing to lend a hand to someone in need. His grandchildren were among his greatest joys, and he took tremendous pride in the family and opportunities he worked so hard to build. Tomas enjoyed the simple pleasures in life—his morning coffee and newspaper, salsa music, a cold Modelo, a good joke, and time spent surrounded by those he loved. He will be remembered for his generosity, humor, perseverance, and above all, for always showing up for the people who mattered to him.

Tomas was predeceased by his beloved wife, Maria Antonieta Nube, with whom he is now reunited. He leaves behind his children, grandchildren, extended family, and many friends who will continue to carry his love and legacy with them always.
