Anna Dutchick Obituary

Anna (nee Petrash) Dutchick of Montrose, NY, formerly of Yonkers passed away on May 22, 2015. A homemaker, Anna was born on April 12, 1915. She recently celebrated her 100th birthday at a party hosted by her daughter Gail along with many relatives and friends. On February 22, 1941 she married William Dutchick at St. Nicholas of Myra Church in Yonkers. Anna was a devoted Mets Fan and had been an avid bowler for many years. She also spent many happy hours and playtime with her constant companions; her “Yorkies”, Valerie and Mia.


She is survived by her devoted and loving daughter, Gail Smith of Montrose and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband William Dutchick, son-in-law William (Bill) Smith and three brothers; John, George and William Petrash.


Visitation is Tuesday, May 26th, 9am to 10am at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held following visitation at 10am, St. Christopher’s Church in Buchanan. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Yonkers.
