Walter Franko of Buchanan, NY passed away on November 4, 2014. He was 85 years old. He was born on February 20, 1929 in New York City to John and Katherine Jakjo Franko. Walter worked for National Amusements where he was the Manager of the Whitestone Drive-In Theater in the Bronx. He is survived by a brother, John (Anna) Franko of Darien, CT, a nephew John S. Franko of Buchanan and four nieces; Dina Franko of Buchanan, Kara Vandivier of South Carolina, Eva Franko of San Francisco and Julie Franko of Darien, CT and sister-in-law Gail Franko of Buchanan. Predeceased by his brother Ted Franko. Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 8th, 11am, St. Raymond’s Cemetery, Bronx, NY.
