Catherine A. Gleba a life-long resident of Peekskill, NY passed away on December 25, 2016. She was 78 years old. Mrs. Gleba had worked as an Administrative Assistant for IBM in Armonk. She was born on August 10, 1938 in Peekskill to Frank and Jeanette Van Tassell Gordon. Catherine graduated from Peekskill High School and received an Associate’s Degree from Mercy College. On August 17, 1957 she married Richard Gleba at the Assumption Church in Peekskill. Catherine enjoyed traveling, knitting, gardening, animals; especially birds.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years, Richard Gleba of Peekskill and three children; Lauree French of Beacon, Jennifer Gleba of Peekskill and Sean Gleba of Wappingers Falls. Also surviving is a granddaughter; Elisabeth LeBlanc, a great granddaughter, Annabelle McCalla and a great grandson Ovila LeBlanc.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 29th, 11:30am at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY.
