Josephine Lilienfield, age 85 of New Windsor, NY formerly of Cortlandt Manor passed away on December 15, 2016. Mrs. Lilienfield had worked for Readers Digest in Pleasantville, NY as a Typesetter. She was born on August 19, 1931 in the Bronx to Paul and Jennie Labate Calella. On October 13, 1956, Josephine married Harold Lilienfield at Holy Rosary Church in the Bronx. She is survived by four children; Diane Daversa of Poughkeepsie, NY, Susan Mule' of Slingerlands, NY, Jeanine McAuley of Wappingers Falls, NY and Joanne (Robert) Barclay of New Windsor. Seven grandchildren; Jennifer, Joseph (Kaitlyn), Daniel, Nicole, Kevin, Kaitlyn and Sean and a great granddaughter, Mia Ella. Also survived by a brother; Frank (Janis) Calella of Lafayette, NJ. Predeceased by her husband, Harold Lilienfiled, a sister, Marianne DeRosa and a grandson, Christopher. Calling hours are Monday, December 19th from 2-4pm & 6-8pm at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, December 20th, at 1:00pm, at the Assumption Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Franciscan Sisters, 250 South Street, Peekskill, NY 10566.
