Obituary of Genevieve Fogg

Genevieve Fogg, a lifelong Peekskill resident, passed away on October 25, 2016. She was 86. Genevieve was born on January 1, 1930, the daughter of Joseph and Frances Soricelli DeLuca. She worked as the Head Cook at Cortlandt Health Center for 32 years, and prior to that she worked as Manager of the Paramount Theater in Peekskill. On June 17, 1949 she married Robert Fogg at Assumption Church. He passed away in 1998. Genevieve is survived by an aunt, Rose Basso, of Holmes, her daughter-in-law, Phyllis Fogg, of Beacon, her nieces, Susan Callahan, of Peekskill, and Linda DeLuca of Hagaman, NY, Joanne VanTassel of Hyde Park, and a nephew, Joseph DeLuca of Hopewell Junction. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren; Jason, Melissa, Bryan and Amanda, 9 great grandchildren and several other nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Frances Fogg, a son, Albert Fogg and two brothers, Sam and John DeLuca. Visiting will be on Friday, Oc tober 28th, from 4pm to 8pm at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY. Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, October 29th, 10am at Assumption Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation, American Heart Assoc. or the ASPCA.
