Obituary of Gloria Chase-Wilkins

Gloria Chase Wilkins of Peekskill NY, entered into eternal rest on November 16th, 2017. She was 69 years of age. Prior to retiring Gloria worked for the bureau of Alcohol and Tobacco, then went to work for the Veteran Affairs Hospital in Montrose, NY where she retired as a supervisor after 32 years of federal service. She was born January 8th 1948 in Peekskill, NY to Ruth Chase. Gloria was a graduate from Peekskill High School, and then went on to achieve an Associate’s degree in Psychology from Mercy College. On December 24th, 1968 Gloria was married to Frederick Lewis Wilkins Sr., where she remained by his side for 32 years until his passing on December 29th, 2000. Gloria is survived by her children, Daughter’s; Deanna Wilkins-McKinney ( Ryshawn) and Janene Wilkins-Graham (Moe), Son-Frederick L. (Ricky) Wilkins Jr. and wife Robin, Son-Darren A. Wilkins, Grand Children; Frederick III, Lionel, Talaya, Tiana, Jovan, Adrianna, Kamel, Anthony Jr., Damien & Dominick, four Great Grandchildren, Her Brother Arthur "Butch" and his wife Chris, Special Friends; Marsh and Anna Haddad, Trudy Odell, and a host of other family and friends. Gloria is also predeceased by Daughter-Valerie A. Wilkins. Memorial Chapel Service will be held at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home 414 Washington Street Peekskill, NY 10566 on Sunday, November 26th from 2pm-4pm
