We were so very sorry to hear sbout Ozzie. I was in Florida for the last two week visiting my brother Victor Renza. We all grew up together on Ogden Ave. we have such fond memories of Teresa ,Ozzie and the 3 boys. The best was going to their house on halloween to get the famous “jelly apples “. Although we didn’t keep in touch as adults, we thought if them often!!! Always saw them on halloween as we bought our kids to Teresa’s for the jelly apples!!! Our hearts go out to all of you!! RIP Ozzie.... With love, Eileen and Vic Renza

Ossie was a classmate at LHS..... I always thought highly of him and he was considered one of the "cool" kids. He was always a fun caring person. Although we lost touch after high school I often thought about those days when we were H.S. kids... so sorry for your loss.

Donna, I have no words of comfort. I cannot imagine how devastated you all must be. He fought so valiantly through so much. We all thought he would finally have time to enjoy retirement, and learn to play again more often than just precious vacation time. I always remembered him as the friendly, smiling, soft spoken man I met in 1974. I am now so very grateful for our memories this summer. I can hear our blended laughter easily, and that is what I chose to remember the most. The happy times. I hope that all of you that he loved so much will heal to a point that when you think of him, you hear his laughter first~ before the pain takes your breath away again.
I hope God wraps his healing love around all of you. And Donna, our door is always open to you.
Love, Janice and Joe

My dearest Donna, I am so very sorry for this heart wrenching and untimely loss. I have so many wonderful memories of your loving husband. First, let me share that both of my parents respected him and enjoyed working with him - especially my mother who thought he was "very handsome"!
My memories are many. To me he was a warm, larger-than-life, talented, capable, funny, no-nonsense guy - all of which came together in a unique package, making Ossie the man that he was. I loved working with him - he would roll his eyes and get annoyed at my grandiose plans but he always made it happen. He knew if I went downstairs to talk to him that I was going to be a "pain in the ass" and he would say, "Oh God, here she comes. Now what?" At the successful end of whatever I was doing, he would give me a big bear hug teasing me (but meaning it as well) with a warning about "the next time..." I cherish those times and his memory. I respected his professionalism and his long successful career at WPH. He was iconic and it would be impossible for me to separate him from the very place that he built with his talent and commitment.
I am so very sorry I can not be there today to share these memories with you in person but I know that you will be surrounded by so many family and friends who love you as deeply as they love Ossie. You are in my thoughts and prayers. The world has lost a wonderful man - a man who loved you deeply. I am so very sorry.

My condolences to all the Dahl Family on such a tragic loss!
I didn’t know Ossie well-only met him twice, but both times I parted his company, I left with such a positive impression of the man!!!
Watching him in the role of ‘Father of the Bride’, he was gracious and kind, funny and loving to Lauren!
May he be resting at peace in the presence of God, May his family find strength & comfort from the love they share and the memories they hold in their hearts!

What a loss! My wife n I had the privilege to know Ozzy for the last three years. But as anyone who knew him can tell you, you will never meet any like him. His kind soul just exzuded from the huge smile he gave you anytime you saw him. You don’t often meet people like him but as soon as you do you know you are a better person for it. We will miss him dearly.

I stopped at the Mohansic driving range one evening on my way home from work and saw Ossie hitting some golf balls. I hit a few balls with him and then we sat on the bench to chat. With that Ossie smile on his face, he marveled at the beautiful sky and pondered how great life was! I'm looking at this perfect photo of Ossie right now - and that smile. Love you, man!
Heart-felt condolences to the family! Be strong, be loving!
