Obituary of Kim Patricia Mollo
It is with great sadness that the family of Kim Patricia Mollo announces her sudden passing on Sunday, March 31, 2019. She was 64 years of age. Kim was born on October 9th, 1954 and raised in Peekskill, NY. Kim worked at The Blue Book in Jefferson Valley but her fondest working memories were her years spent at Ferony’s Deli in Peekskill.
Kim’s greatest passion was her family and those friends who became family. Her door was always open to anybody in need. From a home cooked meal, to a conversation or just a friendly smile and a hug, Kim always knew what would brighten your day.
Kim is survived by her four children; Andrew Lee (Valerie), Lindsay Gara (Stephen), Bill Clark (Cole), Shana Jack (Stephan) and her five Sunshine’s Erin, Patrick, AJ, Austin and Mia. As well as two sisters Victoria Brown (Paul), Bonnie Ponzo (Rick) and brother Keith Sellick, one niece Brittany Ponzo, and two nephews Alex Ponzo and Tyler Ponzo as well as many extended family members and friends.
She is predeceased by the love of her life, her husband Robert Mollo, her mother Patricia Cunane and father Floyd “Gus” Sellick, Jr., as well as two beloved pets Midnight and Gizmo.
The happiest people don’t have the best of everything; they just make the best of everything.
Visitation will be held on, Monday, April 8th at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm with a private cremation service to follow.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests a memorial donation be made to the American Heart Association, Go Red for Women.
