Harold G. Travis, Jr. passed away suddenly at the New York Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital on Monday, May 13, 2019. He was 93 years of age.
Harold was born in Peekskill, NY on January, 25, 1926 to Harold and Violetta Travis.
He is Pre-Deceased by his father; Harold G. Travis, Sr., mother; Violetta Travis (Spock), brother's; Frank Travis, George Travis, Bill Travis, Elsworth Hann, sister's; Edna Travis, Agnes Conklin, Joan Burrows, son; Jeffrey Travis, and his loving wife of 50 years Grace Travis.
He is survived by his Daughter Grace (Skip) Thornell, sister; Lorraine Turner, aunt; Sophie Gordineer, grandchildren; Robert Rodino, Nikki (Chris) Cowart, Jessica (Jeramy) Sinclair, Ursula (Chris) Gallagher, great grandchildren; Christina Rodino, Kayla (Gordon) Darby, Anthony Rodino, Hayley Cowart, Jake Cowart, Evan Cowart, Hunter Gallagher, great-great grandchildren; Sophia, Skylar, and Amelia Darby.
Visitation will be held at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
Chapel service officiated by Mother Jan Nunley will be held at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home on Friday, May 17, 2019 at 11:00am.
Interment to follow at the Hillside Cemetery.
