Obituary of Janice Agnes Holliday

Janice (Woods) Holliday was born to Harry and Alice (Griffin) Woods of Yonkers, NY on October 12, 1950.

Janice is survived by her husband; Raymond R. Holliday, her sister; Sharon Woods of Cortlandt Manor, her brother;Wayne Woods of North Carolina, four nephewws; Wayne, Jr. of Poughkeepsie, Timothy of Wappingers Falls, Terrance of Wappingers Falls, Harold Todd Woods of Cortlandt Manor; her niece Laura Redmond of Saugarties, as well as many great neices and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents; Harry and Alice Woods, her brother; Harold Woods of Cortlandt Manor.

Janice Graduated from Charles E. Gorton High School in Yonkers, NY in 1969. Her extensive career began in Peoples Savings Bank in Yonkers. She then moved to Cortlandt Manor and began working at Peekskill Savings Bank. Through a merger they became People's Bank of Westchester. As banks continued to merge she then worked for Sound Federal, First Union, her banking career came to an end at the Putnam County Savings Bank. Janice loved her work in the mortgage department. 

In 1989 Janice married her husband, Raymond Holliday and they settled in Peekskill, NY. Janice had many friends, and she enjoyed vacationing in North Carolina with her family.

Visitation will be held at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home on Friday, May 31, 2019 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Mass of Christian Burial to be held at The Church of the Assumption on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 11:30am.

Interment to follow at the Assumption Cemetery
