Obituary of Catherine Toucey

Catherine/Renee Toucey passed away on May 28th, 2019 at the age of 78.

Cathie was born in Glasgow, Scotland on January 6th 1941. She immigrated to the United States at the young age of 19. Shortly thereafter, she met and married her lovey Donald J Toucey. They then welcomed their first daughter, April. Three years later, they were gifted their second daughter Donna. Lastly their cherished son,Donald. Throughout the raising of her three loving children, Cathie was employed at New York Presbyterian Hospital Westchester Division in White Plains, NY. She was a dedicated Mental Health worker for more than forty years, where she touched and changed countless lives. After retiring, Cathie dedicated most of her time to perfecting her garden. In addition to her passion for gardening, Cathie did the utmost for her family and friends. It is with great sadness that we have to say goodbye to our Mother, Nana, Sister, and friend. You will forever be in our hearts.

Cathie is lovingly remembered by her sisters May Webster and her husband David Webster and Margaret Norris and her husband Danny Norris. Her three adoring children April Ferreira, Donna O’Hara, Donald J Toucey Jr. Along with her five loving grandchildren Alison Ortigas and her husband Jesse Ortigas, Steven Ferreira and his wife Cindy Ferreira, Margaret O’Hara, Maeve O’Hara, and Morgan O’Hara.And her two son-in-laws Richard Ferreira and Robert O’Hara. And her forever pets Millie, Marty, and Oliver.

She is predeceased by her Lovey, Donald J Toucey. 

Visitation will be held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home on Sunday, June 2nd, 2019 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.

Chapel service to be held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home on Monday, June 3rd, 2019 at 10:00am.

Interment to follow at St. Augustine Cemetery, Ossining , NY.
