Obituary of Ramon L. Santos
It is with great sadness that the family of Ramon Santos announces his sudden passing.
Ramon passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side in the New York Presbyterian Hospital on October 12, 2019. He was 40 years of age.
Ramon was a loving son, brother, husband, father, nephew, cousin, uncle and friend. He has touched so many lives, in so many different ways. If you were lucky enough to cross paths with Ramon, you know what an amazing man he was. Ramon was always for the underdog. His life motto was always, “DO THE RIGHT THING!” His parents could not have been prouder of the wonderful man he became. His wife could not possibly love him more and she is so very grateful for the incredible young man he has created, Our Little Man Reid.
During his high school years, Ramon became a lifeguard at the Cortlandt Yacht Club. This led to his enjoyment for boating and jet skiing. His love for boating was so contagious, it spread through the entire family, which created many fun memories with family and friends. Ramon graduated from Hendrick Hudson High School. Moe was a Sportsman, with great Sportsmanship. He played football, baseball and was an avid golfer. After graduating, Ramon became a master carpenter. Years later he started his own business, until he joined Metro North. He loved his job at Grand Central Station and was loved by all of his Metro North family. Ramon enjoyed many things, including, but not limited to: family time; boating, jet skiing, camping, casinos, concerts, hanging out with the boys, he loved the jets and his Coors Light. He was always down for a good time and making many impressionable memories. Time with his loving family and friends was very important to Moe. He loved his family vacations.
Ramon, you will be greatly missed by all. Our world will never be the same without you. Until we meet again Ramon, you will forever be in our hearts, WE LOVE YOU!!
