Obituary of Dennis J. Hart, Sr.

Dennis Joseph Hart, Sr. passed away peacefully on November 22, 2019, at the age of 82. Dennis was born on March 18, 1937 in the Bronx, New York.

Dennis is predeceased by his parents Thomas and Katherine Hart, and his brother Brian Hart.

Dennis is survived by his wife Doris of 53 years, son Dennis J. Hart, Jr and his partner Jennifer Dickan, daughter Amy Hart Mikolay and son in law Michael Mikolay, his beloved grandchildren; Rachel Mikolay, Cooper Mikolay and Madeline Hart, and sister Eileen Preble.

Dennis served in the U.S. Navy with most tours onboard the USS Nantahala. Dennis was a member of the Volunteer Firefighters Benevolent Association of Mt. Kisco, NY.

Dennis was an avid admirer of Ford Mustangs and a fan of the NY Yankees.

Dennis was never one to miss the chance to take a photo with his grandchildren. It was clear to all that Dennis’ greatest joy came from his 3 grandchildren. Often attending school and sporting events.

Memorial Service to be held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.
