Obituary of Barbara A. Picciano

Barbara A. Picciano passed away with her adoring family at her side on Wednesday, December 25, 2019. She was 75 years of age.

To know Barbara is to love her. She was an amazing woman who loved her family more then herself. Her kids and grandchildren were her world. She welcomed everyone into her home as if they were family. She loved to cook and shop. But most of all she loved just spending time with her husband kids and grandchildren. She will be missed by everyone she has touched in her life, and she made the best Pizzelle's.

She is pre deceased by her parents Hanford and Margaret Chase, her sister Elizabeth Nasko, her aunt Bertha Sobr, and her step-son Michael Picciano.

She is lovingly remembered by her loving husband Rocco, her children; Patti Mazza, Frankie Perrone, Barbara McCluskey (Mike), Rocky Picciano (Donna), Debby Picciano Marriott (Darrell). Her sister, Marion Johns, brothers; Herbert Chase (Cheryl), Hanford Chase, Jr. (Dana). Her grandchildren; Johnny, Margaret, Billy, Theresa, Will, Angela, DeannaRose, Jessica, Amanda, Rocky, Christopher, Nicole, Samantha, Joe, Jimmy, and Kristine. Her Great-grandchildren; Brody, Kellan, Maveric, Jackson, and Jean. As well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home on Sunday, December 29, 2019 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm.

Funeral Mass will be held at the Church of the Assumption on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 10:00am.

Private Cremation Service to follow.

Donations can be made in her name to the Peekskill Ambulance Corp, or St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
