Obituary of Joseph P. Poplees

Joseph P. Poplees of Peekskill, NY passed away on July 12, 2016, he was 58 years old. He was born on August 13, 1957 in Mt. vernon, NY to Frank and Veronica Fay Poplees. Joseph was a Nuclear Plant Operator for Entergy at Indian Point in Buchanan, NY. He was a member and Treasurer of the Knights of Columbus at Church of the Holy Spirit in Cortlandt Manor. He is survived by his wife, Annmarie Poplees of Peekskill, two brothers; Frank Poplees of Wappingers Falls and Charlie Poplees of Port Orange, FL. also survived by his mother-in-law, Anna Giannico of Sarasota, FL. Visitation is Wednesday, July 13th from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, 414 Washington Street, Peekskill, NY. Mass of Chrsitian Burial will be offered on Thursday, July 14th, 10am at Church of the Holy Spirit, 1969 Crompond Rd., Cortlandt Manor, NY. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 1055 Oregon Rd., Cortlandt Manor, NY.
