Obituary of Eslyn M. Brown

Eslyn Maud Brown, age 70, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 3, 2020 at New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York. She was born on October 20, 1949 in Orange Valley, St Ann. Jamaica  to Agnes Hodges and Barrington Green. She was a graduate of Liberty Hill All Age School.She got married June 1986 in Jamaica.

She  migrated to USA and worked for nine years as a Home Health Aide  and seventeen years as a Certified Nursing Assistant, at Northern Westchester Restorative Therapy. She was a dedicated and devoted employee who served her patients with passion an love.

Eslyn lived  her life to ensure her family and everyone around her was happy, she had an exceptional ability to bring the people together.

She is survived by her four children, son Andrew Blissett, daughters Sandra Moulton-Downes, Alethea Brown and Shantell Brown, partner James Goulding, ten grandchildren, many nieces ,nephews, other relatives and friends.She is predeceased by her mother,father and five brothers.

Visitation and a celebration of Eslyn Brown’s life  will be held at Joseph F. Nordone Funeral Home 414 Washington Street Peekskill NY on February 21,2020 from 5:00 pm to 8:00pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Columbanus Catholic Church 122 Oregan Road, Cortlandt Manor, New York 10567 on February 22, 2020 at 10:00am to 10:45am with  father Patrick J. Keenan officiating.

Interment to follow at,Gate of Heaven Cemetery 10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY, 10532.

Repass to take place at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Society 155 Highland Ave,Verplanck NY 10596.
