Obituary of Georgean May Gordineer

Georgean May Gordineer passed away peacefully on March 30, 2020, surrounded by her loved ones. She was 58 years of age.

Georgean, known as Gina to her family and friends, was born December 29, 1961, in Peekskill, NY, and spent the majority of her life living in the Peekskill area.

She was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, and aunt. She was a woman with a kind heart and a nurturing soul. She devoted much of her time as a caretaker, both professionally and personally.

Gina had a love for animals, enjoyed the outdoors, and loved to spend her time being surrounded by her family. 

Gina is survived by her husband Christopher Gordineer, her children Kristy Gordineer, Christopher "Scott" Gordineer, and Nicholas Gordineer, her mother Eileen Theresa Travis, her siblings Brenda Tauszky (Anthony), Stacey Medina (Joe), Kim Susa, and George Joseph Travis Jr., many nieces and nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

She is pre-deceased by her father George Joseph Travis Sr. and her sister Eileen Theresa Travis.  

She will be sorely missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, 414 Washington Street, Peekskill, NY 10566, on Saturday, June 12, 2021, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.

Inurnment to follow at Hillside Cemetery, 1033 Oregon Road, Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567 at 12:00 pm.
