Obituary of Stephen Weigel

Stephen G. Weigel, a lifelong Peekskill resident, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2020.  He was 57.  Stephen was a Filter Plant Operator, working for the City of Peekskill for 30 years.   He was also employed as a Custodian in the Peekskill School District. He was born in the Bronx, NY on August 25, 1962, to Warren and Gloria Finley Weigel.  He was educated in Peekskill Schools, graduating from Peekskill High School in 1981.  Stephen was a Life Member and Ex-Captain of the Cortlandt Hook and Ladder #45 in the Peekskill Fire Dept.  He is survived by his sister, Susan (Jim) Lepore, of Peekskill, his niece Michelle Mulholland, his nephew, James (Melissa) Lepore, and a great niece and nephew, Lia and Chase Mulholland, and also his long time friend Cecilia. Stephen was predeceased by his father and mother, Warren and Gloria Weigel.  A private Graveside Service is planned for Stephen. In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the Foundation of the NY Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital.
