Obituary of Emmanuel Anthony Jordan
Emmanuel Anthony Jordan, lovingly known to his family and friends as “Manny” was born June 9th, 1992. Manny unexpectedly passed away on May 9th, 2020; at the young age of 27.
A native to Peekskill, New York; Manny was born at Hudson Valley Hospital Center. He attended Little Kings and Queens Day Care, Woodside, Hillcrest, and Oakside Elementary Schools, Peekskill Middle School and successfully graduated from Peekskill High School, resulting in his attendance at Herkimer Community College. Manny loved to explore new ventures in life held employment opportunities at places like White Plains Linen, and Salsa Fresca. Manny enjoyed cooking and applied his passion for cooking by creating meals at the Cortlandt Nursing Home where he was also employed.
Manny had a very fulfilling life and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Manny’s love for his children were undeniable. He was an excellent father and enjoyed every minute with his children. His hobbies were playing basketball, and video games, eating out, going to the beach, and traveling any chance he could. Manny had a zeal for reading, fashion, music, history and science. He was famous for his sense of humor, “one liners” contagious smile and being a support system for his family and friends.
Emmanuel is survived by his Mother, Barbara Jordan Johnson, his Stepfather, Rhett M. Johnson, Four Sisters: Tanya Jordan Harvey, Florence M. Henry, Patricia Jordan and Teniya Pitta, Four Children: Jacob Anthony Jordan, Emmanuel Anthony Jordan, Zoey Jordan and Zaria Jordan, Nephew: Nazir James Skaggs
He is lovingly remembered by his: Godmother, Janine Johnson, God brother(s), Jarelle Johnson and Julian Johnson, and Godsister Tija Johnson; along with his extended family and friends.
Emmanuel is predeceased by his Father: Edward A. Pitta and Grandmother: Tommiesenia Jordan.
Those who knew Manny, even if just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
In light of the recent worldwide occurrences dealing with the outbreak of COVID-19, the family of Emmanuel Anthony Jordan would like to have his Hours of Visitation reserved for immediate Family.
