Obituary of Louise P. Harrienger
Louise Davenport Pelton Harrienger was born in Lowville, New York on August 2, 1923, and passed away on June 25, 2020 in Peekskill, New York.
She served in the United States Navy in World War II. She married Charles F. Harrienger and helped him move Peekskill Hospital to the New York-Presbyterian Hudson Valley site. Louise was a lifetime member and President of the Peekskill Garden Club.
She is survived by her son Rick (Ann) Harrienger of St. Augustine, Florida and her daughter Anna (Stanley) Slempa, of Peekskill, New York; grandchildren Erick and Sarah Harrienger, Johanna Slempa and great-grandchildren Alexander Samuels and Sofia Harrienger.
Louise is predeceased by her father Leonard Pelton and mother Mildred Davenport of Lowville, New York; sister Josephine Pelton of Avon Lake, Ohio, and brother Sam Pelton of Buffalo, New York.
Graveside ceremony to take place on Monday, June 29, 2020, at 11:00 am at Hillside Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor, NY.
