Obituary of Frances Carol Bianco

Frances Bianco of Cortlandt Manor, NY passed away peaceful at her son’s home in Lagrange, NY on Saturday, August 1st, 2020 at the age of 79.  Daughter of Mae (Havelka) Donovan and Jerome P. Donovan, she was born on May 5, 1941, in the Bronx, New York.

Frances went to Mercy College where, with pride,  she became a Registered Nurse. She worked in Bellevue Hospital, private duty, Westchester Medical Center, and at IPRO as a traveling nurse for nearly 50 years.   At age 16 Frances met her soul mate, John M. Bianco and they were married in April of 1966.  Her greatest joy was and always remained spending time with her family.  Taking annual trips to Cape Cod and the Caribbean or simply sharing a meal at the house was when Fran was happiest. 

Frances was a one of a kind, compassionate, loving, and supportive mother to her only son John J. Bianco and his wife Wendy.   She was incredibly proud and close to her grandson John S. Bianco and granddaughter Jessica M. Bianco. 

Frances is also survived by her siblings Dorothy Gandolfi & Kathleen Taylor (Barrett), sister-in-law June Donovan and several nieces and nephews.

Frances was welcomed to her heavenly home by the love of her life John, along with her parents Mae and Jerome, as well as her recently departed brother Jerome Donovan and brother-in-law, Robert Gandolfi.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, during the hours of 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home located at 414 Washington Street Peekskill, NY 10566.  

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at 10:00 am at St Columbanus Church located at 122 Oregon Road in Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567, at 10:00 am.
