Rosa Astudillo, also we called her with Love "Mami Rosa" She was an immensely loving lady, fervent in love for her husband, children, grandchildren, daughters-in-law, and son-in-law. Her advice and anecdotes remain in the memory of each one of us.
Since her marriage to her husband José Vicente Quezada, she knew that she wanted a stable home for her children, the more stable it would have to be with love and respect. "Respect has to be there," she said and even when her husband emigrated to the United States, she also despited the fear she felt in the face of the barriers of another language.
In the US she worked in a factory but immediately realized that what she really wanted was to share time with her children. so she decided that she would take care of the children. with her knowledge, she took care of them, trained them to be educated, respectful and grateful children.
For her daughter, sons, daughters-in-law, and son-in-law there was always food warm and ready ... no matter what time of visit. She wouldn't take no for an answer.
Her garden of roses, dahlias, peonies, daisies, and more scented flowers was her paradise of Eden that she cared for them. if you asked, she would say that they are naturally beautiful because she gives them love.

Solía decir “no pregunten si quieren solo coman.”
