Obituary of Edwin Rivera

Edwin Rivera passed away on September 24, 2020, in White Plains, NY, he was 61 years of age. Edwin was born in Passaic, NJ to Jose Rivera Sr. and Antonia Colon Rivera.  

A dedicated worker for over 35 years of his life as a Mechanical Equipment  Operator Specialist.   He was an amazing family man who loved to spend time with his family and friends.  He enjoyed spending time doing home projects and feeding the birds.   Edwin lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures.  He was a lifelong Yankees fan who loved listening to music and playing lotto.   His generosity and love spilled over in everyone he touched.  He was the kind of person who always filled the room with laughter.   He will forever be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

A devoted husband to his wife Anna Kingsley Rivera. A dedicated father of two daughters, Sheena A. Rivera & Jennifer Travis. Grandson Nicholas Travis and Robert Travis Jr., Son in Laws Robert Travis & Juan Vazquez. He is also survived by his siblings Josephine Rivera, Alfredo Rivera Sr., Jose Rivera Jr., Iris Rivera, Nilsa Rivera, Yesenia Rivera, and multiple nephews and nieces.

He is predeceased by his mother Antonia Colon and Migdalia Rivera.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28, 2020, at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Chapel Service to be held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at 10:00 am.

Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery.
