Catherine was a teaching assistant sub for me at Gayhead Elementary in 4th grade inclusion. It was a pleasure to have worked with such a caring and intelligent lady. She inspired me to become the TA I was. I have often thought about her and will never forget her. We always heard about what was happening in the family. She gave me an ice cream scoops favor from her daughter's wedding. Catherine always enjoyed a few pieces of candy from the reward jars. Missed seeing her. So sorry for your loss, Christine Dingee

Catherine was a teaching assistant in my inclusion class at Gayhead Elementary School. She was a beautiful person, and an amazing educator. She enriched the life of both adults and children. Everything that was good in the world encompassed what Catherine was. Heaven just acquired an angel!

Mrs. Brittis was my 4th grade teacher. She was a wonderful and kind lady. I ran into her in at the deli counter at a grocery store here in Dutchess county a few years ago and recognized her by the sound of her voice. Although she taught me over 40 years ago, she remembered me and was very friendly and gracious. She told me how all her children were doing and the pride she had in them was evident on her face. You have been blessed to have her for so long as I’m sure you know. May God bless you and comfort you in your loss.
