Laszlo Phillip age 82 of Land O’ Lakes, FL, formerly of Peekskill, NY passed away on April 29, 2016. Mr. Phillip was an Iron worker and a member of Union Local 455 in Elmsford, NY. He was born on November 2, 1933 in Budapest, Hungary to Paul and Maria Fulop. On December 10, 1961 he married C. Jeanne Slavinski in Yorktown Heights. He is survived by three children; Leslie Phillip Lawler of Peekskill, Christina Gandi of Binghamton and Laszlo E. and Roxanne Phillip of Land O’ Lakes, FL. Also surviving are seven grandchildren; Jeffrey Lawler, Christopher and Dalton Gandi, Dwayne and James Phillip, Charles Mule’ Jr. and Gregory Mule’ along with a sister Elizabeth Leventine of Budapest, Hungary. Predeceased by his wife, C. Jeanne Phillip, grandson, Joshua Chase Phillip, step-son Charles Mule’, son-in-law Jeffrey T. Lawler, and brother Fedco Fulop. Visitation is Wednesday, May 4th, from 4pm to 8pm at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 5th, 10am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Assumption Cemetery.
