Obituary of William L. Conkling

William L. Conkling, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2021, in Cortlandt Manor, NY. He was 88 years of age.

William was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in the Korean War. He then went on to become a Westchester County Parkway Police sergeant, until his retirement. He was a Life member of BPOE Lodge 744 as well as a member of the VFW.

He is survived by his wife Joan Rosko Conkling, sons Scott (Phyllis) and Christopher (Perci) and daughter Patti Ann Meagher, 6 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren, sisters Cynthia (James) Nardelli and Gail (James) Roell.

He is predeceased by his brother Glen, and his grandson Timothy. 

Visitation will be held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home on Sunday, February 28, 2021, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Interment will take place at Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery on Monday, March 1, 2021, at 11:00 am.
