Obituary of Victor Moscardelli

Victor Moscardelli, 78 of Buchanan NY, and formerly of West Harrison NY, beloved husband of 39 years to Dorothy Moscardelli, passed away on Monday May 3, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Tussio Italy, son of the late Carmine and  Giovanna Moscardelli, he moved to New York with his family at a young age.  The family settled in West Harrison NY where Victor attended White Plains High School, Class of 63.  Upon graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving his country from 1964 to 1968.  Victor and Dorothy married in 1981. 

Victor was a long-time employee of Sears and Roebuck in White Plains and Children’s Village in Dobbs Ferry, NY. Vic was a simple man who enjoyed simple pleasures, including spending cherished time with his family, growing things with his green thumb, all animals, and a crackling fire.

Vic was a man of few words and a big heart. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy, and family Sharon, Steve, Frank, Thomas, and Kevin Arasim, 8 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Joseph F.Nardone Funeral Home 414 Washington Street, Peekskill, NY on Thursday, May 6, 2021, from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church, 381 N Highland Ave, Ossining, NY 10562, on Friday, May 7, 2021, at 10:00 am.

Interment to follow at Kensico Cemetery 273 Lakeview Ave, Valhalla, NY 10595.
