David W. Marriott of Peekskill, NY passed away on April 18, 2016. He was 82 years old. Mr. Marriott was a National Advertising Executive for the Newhouse Newspapers in New York City.He was born on April 27, 1933 in Jackson, Michigan to William and Marion Wheeler Marriott. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War Era. On June 27, 1959 he married Jeanne Crum in Mt, Vernon, NY. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Marriott of Peekskill, NY and three children; Karen Mitchell of Peekskill, Robbie (Ruth) Marriott of Wellfleet, MA and Darrell (Debby) Marriott of Peekskill. Five grandchildren; Michael Mitchell, Robert Marriott, Theresa, Angela and Deanna Rose Marriott. Also surviving is one sister, Toni Garland of New Mexico and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son-in-law Mike Mitchell and a brother Philip Marriott.Visitation is today, Tuesday, from 2:30pm to 3:30pm at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY. Memorial service will be held at 3:30pm. Private cremation will follow.
