Obituary of Elizabeth Rose McGuire

Elizabeth Rose McGuire was born on December 19, 1936, in the Bronx to Harry and Eva (Roman) Wenke. She was 84 years of age.

She attended St. Clare’s Academy in Hastings on the Hudson, New York.  Elizabeth then went on to graduate from St. Vincent’s Ferrer. In 1965, she moved to Peekskill and worked at the Wittwyck School for Boys and then Westchester County.

She retired to Hernando Beach, Florida. Elizabeth enjoyed spending time with her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.  She traveled the world.  Elizabeth loved to dance and go to the opera.  She was very active in the conservative party and the 9/12 in Florida.  

She is predeceased by her husband John McGuire and her brother William Wenke.

She is survived by her adoring daughter Margaret Fulgum (Edward);  Sister, RoseAnn Nolan (Joe) of Ohio; Grandchildren Robert and Kimberly Frost (Bobby); Great-grandchildren Carter Frost, Olivia Frisina-Fulgum, Colton Frost, Natalie Frost, and Callan Frost.  

In lieu of flowers, please go enjoy a lobster dinner in memory of mom.

Memorial Service will be held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.

Celebration of life service will be held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
