Obituary of Maria Nicolasa Perez-Cabrera
Maria N. Perez-Cabrera of Bronx, NY passed away on October 16, 2021. She was 82 years old.
She was born on September 10, 1939 in Corozal, Puerto Rico to José (Pepe) and Rufina Cabrera. Prior to retiring she worked in costume jewelry as an associate for Lord & Taylor in New York City. She married Ismael Perez-Marrero from Corozal,Puerto Rico.
She is survived by her daughter: Emeline Perez of Chester, NY, sisters-in-law Zenaida Perez of Cortlandt Manor, NY, Wanda Perez of Suffolk, NY, three sons: Miguel Perez of Suffolk, NY, David Perez, and Richard Perez of Wappinger Falls, NY. Twelve Grand Children and four great-grandchildren.
Maria is predeceased by, her husband Ismael Perez, son -Ismael Perez, and grandson Ismael Perez II.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 22 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church, 2345 University Avenue, Bronx, NY.
Funeral Mass to follow at 12:00 pm.
Interment will be held at Assumption Cemetery, 1055 Oregon Road, Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567 at 2:30pm.
