Obituary of Angela Marie Cerrone
Angela M. Cerrone (Franchi) of Burnt Hills, NY formerly of Peekskill, NY passed away on November 2, 2021, at the age of 91.
She married John J. Cerrone, Sr. on September 7, 1957, at the Lutheran Church of our Redeemer. She worked as a supervisor at Reader’s Digest for 30 years before retiring to Wilmington, NC.
She returned to Burnt Hills in 2007 to be closer to her family and friends, whom she dearly loved. She enjoyed bowling trips with friends, playing cards, crossword puzzles and anything that challenged her mind. She was ever generous and will be dearly missed
She was predeceased by her husband, John J. Cerrone, Sr., and her sister Paula Capuzzo of Peekskill, NY.
She is survived by her children, John (Beth) Cerrone of Ballston Lake, NY, Barbara (John) Park of Carthage, NY, and Richard (John Giorno) of Norwalk, CT; her grandchildren, Leah and Kristian Cerrone and Gabriella Park along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is also survived by her sister Ann Simmons of Wilmington, NC.
Visitation will be held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home on Friday, November 5, 2021, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Chapel service will be held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 10:00 am.
Graveside Committal Service and Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery 1055 Oregon Road, Cortlandt Manor, NY.
