Mrs. Ophelia Fay Meneses passed away peacefully at home on November 21st, 2021. She was 80 years old.

Born Ophelia Fay Ramos on January 18, 1941 in Manhattan, NY to Emigdio and Ophelia Ramos.

She is predeceased by both her parents and her brother Bernard Ramos.

From a very young age, Ophelia was involved with her church and enjoyed singing in the choir. She also enjoyed the theater and as a hobby got involved with local theater groups in which she enjoyed acting in performances.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Rene Raul Meneses, her daughter Leslie Ann and fiance Dave, and her son Rene Andre and his wife Shirley.  She is also survived by her sisters Margaret Russo and Sandra Lee Cartica as well as many in-laws.  

She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Viewing for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, November 24 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home 414 Washington Street Peekskill, NY.

Interment and Committal ceremony will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, At Rose Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, 101 Mill Street, Putnam Valley N Y at 2:00 pm.
