Obituary of Viona Clementina Allen

Viona Clementina Allen (Ms. Hanna) passed away suddenly at Vassar Hospital on December 7, 2021, at the age of 88.  

She was born the eleventh of twelve children in New Garden, St. Andrew, Jamaica on June 3, 1933, to Eustace and Marrie Allen, whom she is predeceased by.

She is survived by her only daughter, Jacklin Pinnock; her grandchildren Richard Hayden, Ava Fashaw, Patrick Lawrence, and Tamiko Omboro; her great-grandchildren Lacey, Tarique, Christopher, Jonae, Justin, Samantha, Andre, Ricky, Shamar, and Tamia as well as six great-great-grandchildren.  She will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews as well.

While she will be greatly missed, we know that she will rest in peace in the hands of Our Savior.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, 414 Washington Street, Peekskill.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at United Methodist Church of Peekskill, 1040 Main Street, Peekskill.

Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery, 1033 Oregon Road, Cortlandt Manor.
