Obituary of Gilda L. Pietris
Gilda Pietris passed away peacefully on December 16, 2021 at the age of 87.
She was born in Ateleta, Italy to Domenico Colamarino and Sabbia D’Angelo.
A long-time resident of Peekskill, Gilda was living in Florida at the time of her death.
She is survived by her son Joseph (Susan) Pietris of Eustis, FL, and daughters Christine Pietris of Croton-on-Hudson, NY and Marigo (Patrick) Rizzo of Cortlandt Manor, NY.
Gilda also had four grandchildren – Joseph (Brianna) Pietris, Roman (Renee) Pietris, and Kyle and Sophia Rizzo; as well as two great-grandchildren Leo and Eli Pietris.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021 from 3:00PM to 7:00PM at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, 414 Washington Street, Peekskill.
Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 10:00AM at Church of the Assumption, 920 First Street, Peekskill.
Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery, 1055 Oregon Road, Cortlandt Manor.
