Obituary of Salvatore Immacolato Lanuto

Salvatore Immacolato Lanuto passed away on January 22, 2022 at the age of 96. He was born to Salvatore and Mary Lanuto in Harlem, New York on December 8, 1925.

He proudly served in the United States Navy as an Electrician's Mate Third Class during WWII and then continued as an electrician for the NYC Fire Department.

Known for his love of life and animated story telling, his smile will live on in the memory of all who knew and loved him.

He will be lovingly missed by his family and his friends, but there is joy in knowing he is now reunited with the love of his life in heaven.

Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, January 28, 2022 at 11:30 AM at Church of the Holy Spirit, 1969 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor.

Military Honors and Final Remembrances will take place immediately following mass.
