Rose “Babe” Zotto age 89 of Peekskill, NY passed away on February 6, 2016. She was born in Peekskill, NY on February 14, 1926 to Frederico and May Annacone Mirra. Mrs. Zotto worked at St. Joseph’s Home, Peekskill in the Infirmary. On April 13, 1947 Rose married Samuel A. Zotto, Sr. at the Assumption Church in Peekskill. She is survived by her three children; Samuel A. Zotto, Jr. of Fishkill, Richard (Elizabeth) Zotto of Buchanan, NY and Christina (John) Gioacchini of Peekskill. Also surviving are five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a step-sister, Barbara Antonacci of Lancaster, PA. Predeceased by her husband Samuel A. Zotto, Sr. and a brother Louis Mirra. Visitation is Tuesday, February 9th, 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, February 10th, 10:15am at the Assumption Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
