Obituary of Lena Miozzi

Lean Miozzi of Peekskill, NY passed away on February 2, 2016, she was 91 years old. A homemaker, Mrs. Miozzi was born on March 5, 1924 in Peekskill to John and Carmela DeLuca Renzi. On September 1, 1946 she married Frank A. Miozzi at the Assumption Church in Peekskill. Lena was a life-long resident of Peekskill, a parishioner of the Assumption Church and a member of the Peekskill Seniors. She also enjoyed cooking, crocheting and sewing. Mrs. Miozzi is survived by two sons; Ralph John (Sarah) Miozzi of Melbourne Beach, FL and Francis A. (Charlotte) Miozzi of Cortlandt Manor, two grandchildren; Sarah Christine Campbell and John Francis Miozzi and a great grandson, Kellan Campbell. Also surviving is a brother, Henry Renzi of New Rochelle and a sister, Nancy Capicotti of Viera, FL. Predeceased by her husband Frank A. Miozzi. Visitation is Wednesday February 10th, from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, February 11th, 10am at the Assumption Church, Peekskill. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor.
